Quantum Growth Continues

LEBANON, OH. Quantum Metals continues to grow, recently completing a 25,520 sq. ft. expansion to the existing facility located in the Columbia Business Park. With this expansion, the facility is now over 120,000 sq. ft.

Quantum, founded in 1994 provides INNOVATIVE SCRAP SOLUTIONS, focusing on non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, brass and high-temperature alloys www.quantummetals.com.

Quantum offers an extensive array of products catering to a variety of industries and customers regionally and around the globe. Kiesland constructed Quantum’s original facility in 1999 with a subsequent expansion 2004.

The most recent expansion was built in response to increased market demand for aluminum processing, particularly products related to the automotive industry. An innovative scrap processing system developed in Europe was the centerpiece of the expansion. The processing system is unique in the USA providing Quantum with expanded capacity and increased efficiencies. The building addition features heavy duty floors, 40’ interior clear height and 96’ clear span structure which enables flexibility and efficient flow of materials via conveyors. Roof system is Butler®MR-24® standing seam. In addition to the high bay LED lighting system the building benefits from extensive daylight harvesting utilizing the SunLite Strip® roof skylights with light sensors controlling the building lighting.
